In December 2014, 5 diesel generators of MAN trademark (LxWxH, m.; weight, kg.) 10,965х3,060х3,872, 87 858 kg. from Saint-Nazaire port (France) to port «Baltiysk» (Russia). First, there was variant to carry out delivery from the port to off-loading point, but after route and pavements constructions investigation it was resolved to use railway transportation service up to «Neman-Noviy» railway station, which was the starting point of motor transportation by our company to the Baltic NPP building plot.
However, the last meters were the most complicated, in particular, a driveway into roofed heated air shed. The difficulties caused by narrow opening and ramp lifting degree were overcome by the experienced driver, relief shift and additional hauler.
