LIEBHERR LR 11350 crane transportation

At the end of 2012, a vessel with disassembled LIEBHERR LR 11350 crawler crane arrived in the Kaliningrad commercial seaport. Our company got the challenge to transport all the details from the port to the Baltic NNP building plot within 10 days. In order to avoid delays, our specialists thoroughly examined the crane specifications and developed the sequential logistics of berth clearance.
The main difficulty of the project was the development of transportation timetable and combinations of cargoes on transportation vehicles. Moreover, weather conditions were severe. As a result the transportation was carried out in a fixed period by 72 trips, amounting to 1 714 000 kg. This project was executed in cooperation with “Kaliningrad Kran” company.
